Member Posts: 2 Comments: 0 Joined: 05/04/21	2001 18' dauntless with a 2018 Mercury 150XL. I’m planning to switch out from a gen 1 to gen 2 Mercury control. I already ran the new cables. It’s boating season here in Michigan. I want to make the changeover but don’t want to miss a day of boating. Are there any pitfalls I need to look out for? Are there any tips for cable adjustment? Leave in Forward gear?? Or other? Thank you.
