I have a 1989 Boston Whaler 20' Outrage and need a new engine. From my research i appears tbat i need a single
200hp+ with a 25" Shaft length OR twins with 20". Please confirm that i have this info correct before i plunk down $$ on a new to me engine.

my 1999 Mercury 225 EFI has no spark and probably not worth the new computer cost.

You are correct.

25" shaft for single.

Be wary of price gouging for engines in stock. Its a thing.
