I was told my 'new' Sport 13 is a 1962, but the stencil is clearly 1604 which makes it a 1959 based on research I've done here on Whaler Central.
1986 was the last time it was in the water.
The hull spent time outside and the interior gelcoat is bad.
However, the hull never had anti-fouling paint, and the gelcoat (inside and out) is original (i.e. never painted).
It's also free of drilled holes beyond those related to being a Sport model.
My understanding is that I need 10 posts before I can post pictures.
My 'General Discussion' topic is whether an early and unmolested 1959 hull (with age-related issues) is viewed as a thing to be preserved, or as an old boat to be revived for recreational use?
