Member Posts: 1 Comments: 0 Joined: 11/18/21	I am new to this site so please give advise as you see fit. I can't tell where to post my questions. I. have 1970 13' that I added a transom riser to accommodate 4 stroke 30hp Merc w standard length foot. my transom riser took up the lift point holes. so my question is: can I move the lift points 3" away from engine? In other words: Is the transom reinforced enough 3"away from original holes?

There are subforums on the special areas, General for when you don't know where it should go. Yes, you can move the transom eyes but I recall seeing them used as one of the throughbolts.
