Hey all. I am the proud new owner of a 1982 sport 15. Is a very nice old boat. When I looked at it to buy it was in the water and all looked great. After I got it home I noticed there is a line of small half circle spots of fiberglass/ gel coat popping off. It follows the very bottom line of the transom, and around the corners to the side of the boat about a foot or so
This boat has been well cared for since new.
I suspect that this may be the result of a kinda dry lay up at the factory? Maybe? I have some fiberglass experience and my plan is to remove everything that is separated, fill with epoxy, sand, spray gel coat, sand, buff, ect. Has anybody seen this before? Any luck fixing it? Am I on the rite track? I greatly appreciate any advise or ideas. Thanks.
