Member Posts: 2 Comments: 0 Joined: 08/19/21	Hi - first post here, thanks for the great forum! I have a ~1990 Outrage 18 w/ a 150 Yamaha 4 stroke. My current trailer is pretty old, and I'll soon need to start bringing the boat back and forth between Boston and Maine. Do y'all have recommendations for trailer model, type, length, etc.? And, is it wise to get one with brakes if I expect a fair amount of highway driving (about 3.5 hours each way)? Not even sure that trailer is long enough or the trailer axle has the appropriate weight rating. The Outrage 18 typically sit on a trailer like this one: https://www.loadrite.com/spec-sheet-g...20280096VT You will want 2x6 bunks covered in carpet or slick sticks on the FLAT. The bunks should be 4-5' long. You should have 12" wide V rollers on each crossmembers. The roller brackets need to be raised an inch or so above the cross members.
