Hey guys, recent acquisition of a 1978 Outrage V-20. Noticed what seems to me to be an "inside-to-out" leak. The staining/discoloration have an oily residue feel and smell. It is damp, somewhat slimy and clearly very distinctly discolored compared to its surroundings. Its on the starboard side and runs about half the beam. Any ideas as to what this could be? Possible ways to fix it? Thanks as always.
I think it is a failed or unrepaired section of damage.
You should remove the bottom paint 5" wider around it to expose the fiberglass.
Appears to be resin and or water.
Take more photos of the exposed area. Please use another website for photos. Photobucket has been turned into a click-bait site with popups. Try Flickr, google, icloud etc.
