This is hard since you are outside the US.

Many owners have rebuilt hacked up consoles by filling all the holes with wood blocks and glass/gelcoat.

Have a photo of what you have?

You have a Super Console. A factory option on the Outrage 18,20,22 and 25.

The exterior appears to be well cared for with a prior owner doing a decent job replacing the wood side and rear doors with composite doors.

As for the inside, it is the typical spagetti disaster one sees in almost every Outrage that has not had a professional re-wire. I've had 2 boats with interior consoles like that.

The existing console is a great asset to your boat. Replacing it will diminish it esthetically and some of its value.

I suggest you do some clean up of the wiring. While it looks horrible, it can be a DIY if you have basic skills.

Phil, I’ll look for other examples of the super console that has been updated. Thanks again!

That is the newer Super Console from 1986 on and is very nice.

Your console doors have been changed from Teak to Starboard.
I certainly would not change the console but that is your choice.

Joe, thanks for your feedback. I’m going to redo the current console. Any ideas on how I could improve this one? Thanks again, kevin

Many owners have updated their dash and switch panels, replaced the original switches with lighted and labelled Contura style.

As for panels, you can refinish the ones you have now if you don't want to change the layout. A light sanding and some black stove paint will renew them.

As for cleaning up the inside and the wiring, this is a good off-season project. I have done all three of my boats.

A good source for wire, switches and panels is www.newwriemarine.com

To provide advice, tell us what you want to change, improve, remove etc.
