I have a 2004, conquest 305 twin yam 250. I simply want to reupholster my helm seat, back bench and 2 cushions - I removed the back bench (half turn style) and took to a local upholstery vendor (on san diego shelter island; renown boating location for driscoll boat yard, dennis connors campaign site, san diego yacht club etc). this vendor has been there on the island for 40 years. he has zero idea how to remove the 'shell' portion (the plastic frame and backing on the bench). (id send photo if this site allowed). He's requiring me to remove - any idea how? I'd buy new if Whaler made the darn thing.

Hi there, I am not sure if you already took your seats to your boatyard, but Tena from Anderson's MFG & Upholstery sells the OEM Upholstery for the conquest 305. She did my boat, looks just like the factory did it. Give her a call (321) 267-7028 or check out her website at amfg.us
Here are the prices for the upholstery for the Conquest 305:
To remove the seats from your boat, there is a screw at the aft end of each side bolster. You'll need to undo that. For the stern seat backrest, there are 22 screws holding it plus a snap on the starboard side of the bottom of the bolster.
Old thread but might address my problem. I have a 2006 Conquest with plastic seatbacks for the helm seat and the passenger side. Can't figure out how to remove the seatback or the bolsters.
