2002 90HP corrosion problem around cylinder head gasket area. How to fix?

Member Posts: 1 Comments: 0 Joined: 09/21/20	Hey Guys, When I was removing the salt buildup around the cylinder heads one of the cylinder gasket edge area came apart. Can I use a JB Marine Weld to repair so gasket will properly seat? What do you recommend? Thank You Here is link to pic. Without knowing the extent or what type engine, I would buy a used cyl head but not all makes are removable. I have done it on models where I really had no other choice. 24 Whalers so far....
