I am getting ready to add trim tabs to my new (to me) 2005 Ventura 210. I was reading concerns about install and in general I am not concerned because I have seen almost every one of this model come with trim tabs on them but one of the things that came up in the discussion forum I was reading was to check and see whether the hull where the trim tabs would be installed was reinforced to support them or just fiberglass and foam. Concern was that if the excessive pressure from the tabs caused any problems with the hull, you might introduce a water entry problem. Does anyone have any info on this topic? I want to be sure before I go installing them and wreaking havoc. Thanks in advance.
Looks very close to my 2005. I kind of figured the transom would be pretty well decked out with reinforcement given all the accessories that can attach there, but good to see it on a drawing. I'll check with BW to make sure, but thanks for taking the time to pull the drawing and provide guidance. Appreciate it!!
