I've purchased a 2015 BW Dauntless and, as I have kids who like to ride on the front bow cushions, would like to install Lifeline safety netting on the bow rails (I have the standard, raised rails with no split). Weaving the Lifeline netting into the top section of the rails is easy enough but there's nothing to latch them on to at the bottom section.
I'd rather not drill into the surface of the deck so if anyone is aware of a bolt on solution or OEM safety netting kit for specifically for Boston Whaler it would be helpful to know.
If you like to take that safety precaution I would recommend a stainless steel cable strung low (close to the gunwale/deck) to which you could string your netting.
If you don't want to drill small holes thru your stanchions you should be able to figure a way to clamp the cable onto the up-rights.
You can always use a life-line lanyard hooked up to their PFD and your railing.
Thanks for the feedback, I've actually decided to use a mix of stainless steel wiring and plumber style stainless p-clips as anchor points on the railings.
