1997 Outrage 20 fuel tank replacement

It has rotted through at the bottom of the aft tank wall. @ 1' X 2" hole after pumping tank of old fuel and sludge. I would like recommendations for under deck replacement tanks. The current tank is 87 gallons and FMT in NC have replacements for @ 1400 plus freight. would like to consider a plastic one but can't locate one. Edited by Phil T on 04/29/16 - 8:17 AM

While Moeller offers several below deck rated plastic tanks, the uniquely angled shape precludes it from almost every model. For members who are more than a few 100 miles from FMT, the recommendation is to source a replacement tank from a local fabricator. Check local Whaler dealer's Parts Department for a recommendation. Also get one from local marine supply house. Remove existing tank and provide to fabricator so they can use it as a template.
