i just purchased a 1979 13 ft whaler. I would eventually like to do a full restore. In the meantime I want to be able to get it in the water a few times this summer. It has a few dings in the bottom of the hull. I am also building new seats and a condole. I have never done any repairs to a boat. What product or methods should I use to patch a couple small dings and holes in the hull. Also, how about filling old holes that were made inside the boat over the years. I am going to build some economical seats. I cannot find any decent mahogany that does not require a planer which I do not have access to. I was think about using some T and G Ipe to built seats and a console, but any advice of alternate materials would be nice. Thanks for any advice or infer
