Would a Bimini for classic Montauk fit a modern Montauk?
I am doubtful that the frame would be wide enough. Your boat has 8" more beam than the classic.
Even if you could find a way to make it work, you would end up with a bimini that was narrower than optimal for your boat. When it comes to sun protection, you want to max out the dimensions in every direction.
Too bad, there was a guy down here who was recently selling a bimini for a Montauk 170 that was in beautiful condition, for $250. It was red, but it sold quickly.

I have a really nice Wm. Mills like new bimini for sale that fits 2002 models or later.
2002 was a transitional year where both the older and newer model was made.
Which model do you have?
The Montauk 17' or the Montauk 170 as shown on our home page?
