Member Posts: 8 Comments: 0 Joined: 07/19/08	how do you search the forums for previous posts to keep from asking a question that's been asked and answers? the only search i've found is the site search and it doesn't seem to stick to the subject very well? i was wondering if this was a site idiosyncrasy or my lack of skills

By clicking“MAIN” the drop down selection appears and the second to last option is “SITE SEARCH” Note that you have the ability to search on exact words. This feature increases your accuracy and produces better results.

This tends to give you a more focused result, but you need to be sure you choose appropriate search keys or you may end up with an empty set. What information are you looking for? Sometimes the most obvious explanation is the right one, and I'm betting that nobody has brought up this topic before. Seems reasonable to start a new thread with your questions.
