how do you search the forums for previous posts to keep from asking a question that's been asked and answers? the only search i've found is the site search and it doesn't seem to stick to the subject very well? i was wondering if this was a site idiosyncrasy or my lack of skills

I usually use Google site search for any forum, not just this one. The code is below, just use whatever keyword(s) you want - this example Montauk trailer. It is sometimes helpful to view Images instead of Web search.

site:whalercentral.com Montauk trailer

Below the words WhalerCentral and The Roadmap… is the navigation bar.

By clicking“MAIN” the drop down selection appears and the second to last option is “SITE SEARCH”

Note that you have the ability to search on exact words. This feature increases your accuracy and produces better results.

Hello,
In addition to the other ideas, I always use the "result has to contain all those words" setting, which is not the default. This tends to give you a more focused result, but you need to be sure you choose appropriate search keys or you may end up with an empty set.

What information are you looking for? If you let us know, we can hopefully give example searches to get you started.

For instance i put in frontier 25 drain location and i get no hits just frontier 25 gives me 4 pages with the last 1.5 being irrelevant. So is this all there is or am i just searching wrong?

Tomcatn,
I tried searching for keywords "frontier drain" using the "result has to contain all those words" option, and even this search found no result other than this thread. Sometimes the most obvious explanation is the right one, and I'm betting that nobody has brought up this topic before. Seems reasonable to start a new thread with your questions.
