Need some input from anyone out there who has installed a CMC PT-35 or PT-130 Power Tilt & Trim unit on a 13 foot whaler with the 15" notched transom. My back simply cannot handle bending over to lift the motor so I want to install a CMC unit which seem to get very high marks from users about their quality and durability. My question is regarding mounting the CMC unit to the transom. Does anyone have any experience installing one of these on a 15" transom and if so could you please Email me some photos? Because of the unique nature of the whaler and the sharp curve of the inside of the transom I want to make sure of what I'm doing before I start drilling holes. Any help out there would be GREATLY appreciated !
