Removing stick-on Registration letters and numbers off gel-coat
I recently bought a 2007 150 Sport and need to change the registration numbers and letters on the side of the boat. I don't want to damage the gel-coat. How can I take these older plastic letters and numbers off? Heat? Chemical solvent?
It is highly recommended you purchase a inexpensive plastic scraper. Don't use metal. It looks identical to a metal putty knife but made of plastic. This tool will not damage your gelcoat.
