bow pulpit??

Is that right? I've since removed the anchor mate due to popular demand, lol, but i was wondering if the bow pulpit was an original item, and what is it's purpose? personally i just think it looks cool and will be even better when i refinish the teak. tks rich

It is a Bow Pulpit but someone added it and they did a nice job. The purpose was to keep an anchor up there instead of bringing it onboard everytime.

I did build a teak pulpit for mine before I got those drawings and it turned out great and works just right.
