Joe. It's possible his email got hacked. It happened to a few of my friends. They just go in and reset password and it stops. Not sure how it happens. To answer your question no I did not receive an email from that address.
Yes, I am familiar with many of these things. Heck, I even get spam email from my own email address that I didn't send to myself.
Someone just uses my email address. I have seen this happen frequently for many people. And even much worse even though the password was not compromised.
Could be like you mention but that would be a little odd.
Will give him a break unless I hear more from others.
We have had some from others in the past and that is why I am asking on this one.
This particular member has that email address and he has the same website that the email wanted me to visit.
I don't believe in coincidence too much.
But, as long as the majority of us aren't getting spammed, then it might just be me as the target for some reason.
