removing barnacles

Member Posts: 20 Comments: 0 Joined: 04/22/14	I own a 13' 2004 SS Boston Whaler... how do I remove barnacles that are on the gel coat just above the bottom paint line. They've been on the boat since last year. Is Mary Kate barnacle remover safe for my boat?? Any input is most appreciative. Geoff C

Member Posts: 14 Comments: 0 Joined: 01/19/14	I used muriatic acid to get my barnacle beard off. It's a heck of a lot cheaper than On & Off (but just as corrosive on metal fyi).
