I own a 13' 2004 SS Boston Whaler... how do I remove barnacles that are on the gel coat just above the bottom paint line. They've been on the boat since last year. Is Mary Kate barnacle remover safe for my boat?? Any input is most appreciative.

you can just scrape them off. on & off or other commercial hull cleaners will get the residue after the shell is off

I used muriatic acid to get my barnacle beard off. It's a heck of a lot cheaper than On & Off (but just as corrosive on metal fyi).
