I,ve been reading on the web about bolting on large outboards and which way the bolts should be placed to ensure good seal on the transom and got the idea too put all bolts through with the threads out the back witth a large washer on both sides of the transom then the motor bracket. This way one coud ensure the transom had a good seal on both sides. Any thoughts? Thanks
