Iphone5 works fine - Here is a screen shot of the iphone so people can see what it should look like.

Joe - would it help to see a screen shot of what Explorer is showing? I am sure I can figure out a way to post that.

I have attached a photo below on how the Avatar page should look on WhalerCentral.

I only took a screen shot of the first 16 avatars and there are 415 but they are very small in file size and pixel size.
They shouldn't take that long to view all 415.

Scott,
Yep, that is how it looks on all my computers and mobile devices.

IE just doesn't seem to display the avatars.

Everything else seems to display those avatars except IE.
Strange.

Thanks Scott.

I will do some more looking.
I don't see anything that would stop IE from displaying a .jpg on that page.

Initially I could not see the avatars, but can see them now. What ever you did Joe, seems to have worked for me.

I didn't really do anything Joe, other than refreshing the page to make sure it loaded from the site, and not from memory.

I removed 3 clauses for the <img src> code.

1. class='displayed'
2. height=''
3. width=''

This didn't change anything for the Apple computers or mobile devices.
They always worked and still do.

Don't know why they might have affected Windows IE.

For those of you that don't know, I have been doing things like this for years.
I used to have on my desktop at work. Internet Web Manager.
1. A Windows computer running Windows 3.1 and a 13" monitor
2. A Windows computer running Windows NT (I think it was)
3. A Windows computer running Windows 98 and a 15" monitor
4. I also had a 17' monitor I could throw in the mix
5. An Apple computer running various Apple OS from OS 9 to OS X that I could switch back and forth on.

When writing and creating websites and html 4, I could check to see if they rendered well on all the different computers and different size monitors before publishing it and going public.

That stuff is now becoming old school. Now PHP, which we are using here is fun to work with and uses a MySQL database which is fantastic.
Also, html 5 is here which can do away with consumers using Flash or Java which can be security issues if you know what I am talking about.
I have gotten away from Flash and Java except for one site I visit.
Can't wait for that site do to away with Adobe Flash and move on to html 5.
The sooner all the sites that are using Flash and Java change over the better off we will be security wise in my opinion.

For you that don't know what I am talking about, you are lucky. :-)

You bet Dave.
I have spent many sleepless nights dreaming of code.

I also forgot to mention.
Those screen sizes above are also old school and basically obsolete.
Now I have a Mac Mini running a 55" Sony HD TV and the OS X operating system and showing iTunes in the screen shot below.

I am also running 27" Apple monitors or iMacs.
Geez, my first TV back in 1970 was only 17" and I thought that was huge.

Thanks for letting me know that it is working now.

Without having a Windows computer here I cannot test it myself.

At this time I would guess that IE does not like the height='' and width='' to be left blank.

If all avatars were 100x100 pixels, I would have put this in:
height='100', width='100'
But when I did that the avatars that weren't that size were distorted.

I will make a mental note of that today.
Unfortunately I will probably forget that tomorrow.
Good thing I we can refer to this thread in the future.
