1. Use the full 4 digit year for everything you are asking your question about. Example: 1962, 1988, 2000, 2011
2. Include the correct name of your Whaler model. Example: Montauk 17, Montauk 170, Outrage 26, Outrage 260

Personal Page Comments Reminder

Site Owner Personal Page Personal Album Photo Albums Project Albums Posts: 11434 Comments: 452 Joined: 03/18/05	This is a reminder for everyone that has a personal page to check the comments left by others. The easiest way to check personal page comments is to click on the link on the left sidebar "Personal Page Comments". There you will see the most recent personal page comments for all the pages. If you look at the member ID, you will see who the comment was left for. You will need to know your member ID. If you don't know your member ID, then just click on your profile and that will bring up your number in the address bar under lookup=??????. There are quite a few comments in the personal page section that have gone unanswered. Another way to check your comments is by opening up your personal page and viewing the comments left by others. It is best not to put comments in your own comments section as this is for Guest comments unless you are replying to someone else's comments... Example: You should not put "I just added something to my boat".... This should be put in the body of your personal page as many people won't read your comments... Hope this helps and hope everyone reads their personal page comments.

I don't often look at my own personal page and when people ask questions. I have no idea that they're asking. So with that said, I prefer people to e-mail or p.m. me if they have a question which some have done. But I do see your point of looking at the personal page comments. Question, how do you know when the personal page, and is directed to you. There is a number there, but how do I find out my number? Thanks Joe Guts/AKA/Kim

When we started the personal pages, it was written by a 3rd party and is complicated to say the least... We had to adjust many things to get what we wanted... I'm sure it could be done but not without a lot of work. More work then I would even want to think about.... At this time, the best way to check personal page comments is to click on the link on the left sidebar. http://www.whalercentral.com/viewpage...page_id=75 Look for your user ID number....... Mine is 4 ........... I have tried to change the user ID to the username but even that has proven to be difficult the way the personal page section is written...
