Congratulations to those that maintain this wonderful site. I just recently acquired a "new" to me Whaler. The site has been invaluable as I embark on my joys of Whaler ownership. Thanks so much for a job well done!

Scott,

On 4/3/07 we had 3999 members on the wall....

Today, 6/12/07 we have 4999 members on the wall...

That's 500 members per month or an average of a little more than 15 members per day that are joining us.

The site has been growing rapidly the last couple of months and we are very pleased.

Thanks to all you guys and gals.

Earlier this year I told Joe I thought we'd hit 5000 by the beginning of September. Wrong as usual, but in a nice way this time.

We hope you enjoy this place as much as we do.

Mike

of course w/c members are the smartest, look at the boats we walked past when buying, we did'nt choose lower prices for a larger boat, over the quality of a "Whaler", most people love their boats, "Whaler" owner's would Marry their boats if they could ! great site, great info. great idea's, congrats W/C ! well done !

Have we gained over 1100 members since April?

I'm not surprised that the site membership is growing fast. The content is great and the navigation and the systems that are in place are first-class! Congrats, Joe, Mike, and Jeff! And thanks for all you continue to do!

Others, too are invaluable to the site. It's a wonderful community.

Scott,
Yes, we have been growing considerably. That's good.

Almost 4,000 new members in the last 11 months...

All of us are thrilled that this site has grown this much and appreciate all the input from all the members.

A bit loud is an understatement -- I could not get to my speakers before it was to late! I think I will keep this one around to wake me up after lunch.Grin

A little history of the conch shell and how it was used.

The Calusa Indians used the conch shell for communication early on.
Later, the conch was used as a fog horn to alert vessels.

If it wasn't loud, then the above 2 situations wouldn't be able to hear it........... Grin

Sorry it is too loud, so for the rest of you, turn down your sound before playing the movie.
