I currently have two 17" boats.
A Tracker Deep Vee on a galvanized roller trailer.
The other one is a 17" Whaler (current project).
Since the Whaler is coming along and my partner is buying a new Tracker,
I will be sale in the Tracker soon.
The other trailer that I have is a bunk style. It is low and wide painted.
Should I swap the boats and sale the Tracker on the painted trailer?
I rebuilt the galvanize trailer a few years ago, new axle new springs, and it has guild rails.
How well do Whalers do on roller trailers?
I have heard that some boats will develop problem if they are stored on roller trailers.
The painted trailer has new wiring and new paint.
Ideally if you're using this trailer in salt water, you'd want a galvanized trailer with keel rollers and bunks....that's the best set up for a whaler. The painted trailer you have will rust away unless you're constantly touching it up with paint.....even then it'll be a battle for ya.
