I am finally laying out the mahogany in my old, pre 71' 13'. I did not have any wood in it when I got it so I don't have much of a point of reference to go by. I remember someone saying that from the back of the inside of the transom to the back edge of the rear seat should be 42". Does that sound right? Not from the splash well, but from the back of the transom? Also, I can't remember if the side pieces that the seats attatch to sit on top of the outsided step or the inside step? Much help, thanks.
Look in the downloads for wood locating diagrams. From the inner splashwell to the center of the wood in the floor for mounting the console is 56". Place your console in first and layout the rest from there. If I remember your putting an SS interior in and it will be the same unless you plan on moving the interior forward a bit.
