I ordered an new BW 200 Dauntless/200 Verado sceduled for march next year. Now the dealer asked me whether I want to have the electric trim tabs with indicator or not.
I have some experience on a Yamarin boat (20 foot), and that was unsatisfactory. Partly du to bad maintenance by the former owner. I did not have them on my 17 Montouk/130 hp. and never missed them. (great boat never shoot have sold it)

The boot will be used on lake's for slow sailing, some waterski and a few time's inshore.

I have ordered whitout the tabs but some people say its better to take the tabs. Now I ame in doubt.

What would you do? and why take the trim tabs, or why not?

Thanks in advance for your reactions.

Blokkie

PS. I used the search function but could not find answers.
