Placing a new Steering Wheel

Member Posts: 29 Comments: 0 Joined: 04/13/10	I have a 1995 montauk I placing a new steering wheel, how do you remove a old existing steering wheel? I took off the center cap, i seen a nut, i removed that. What's after that?

Member Personal Page Posts: 328 Comments: 1 Joined: 09/08/09	keep the nut on and gently tap it while pulling on the wheel to break it loose. If you do it with the nut off, the wheel will smack you in the face! In my case I had to do more than gently tap it lol. 1984 Montauk
