I have a 1995 montauk

I placing a new steering wheel, how do you remove a old existing steering wheel?

I took off the center cap, i seen a nut, i removed that. What's after that?

keep the nut on and gently tap it while pulling on the wheel to break it loose. If you do it with the nut off, the wheel will smack you in the face! In my case I had to do more than gently tap it lol.

It is a Tapered Shaft like this.. do what bmw90w said.
