Just got a Whaler 15' 3" Super Sport. However I dont know what year it is? The Plate on the back of the Transom reads BWC 2993E K586. Im assuming its a 86 model from what Ive read but I was going to ask and make sure. I was also wondering what the black stenciled number was on the inner side of the transom under the motor means, it reads B50371. Any help would be great and what is the actual value of this boat if anyone knows?It has a 70HP Evinrude that is a late 80's model. Im going to have to do some work to the wood it but I was just wondering. Thanks in advance!
Congrats on getting your Whaler and welcome to the site. You can also email chuck bennet at Boston Whaler with you numbers and he can give you some history on your boat.
