Need some help in finding the weight of the following two items:
Mid eighties Johnson 25hp short shaft (naturally this is a two stroke)
A small boat Gator trailer. I cannot get the model or serial number form the sticker. I can tell you that the GVWR is 960lbs and the GAWR is 910lbs. I believe it is also a mid eighties trailer.
Just got the chance to weigh my 1984 13 sport. Total weight cam in at 750lbs including boat motor and trailer described above. From checking the specs for the boat on this sight it should weigh 330lbs leaving 420 lbs for the trailer, motor, half full gas tank, battery box and battery.
I was able to spec a new but comparable Shorelander trailer with a 1560 GVWR & GAWR. It came in at 330lbs. Given the capacity differences, I am sure that the Shorelander is on the heavy side.
If anyone can help out, I would greatly appreciate it.
