16 ft dauntless 1500 dry weight on a 2700 17 to 19 ft load rite trailer .can i convert my load right trailer from roller to bunk using the same roller brackets?

Many trailers can be converted to bunks but not sure about yours.

Keel rollers are recommended along with 4 bunks off to the sides.
Generally 2 long bunks and 2 shorter bunks and then the Keel rollers.

may be you are right , i was looking around and found some one selling an aluminum 20 ft. trailer with brakes 3300 lb. brand new condition for 2400.00 , and another 17 ft. with brakes made by escort , at a trailer shop for 980.00 but used . I've never herd of escort are they any good?. i would appreciate any help

I may be wrong but I think the escort trailers were made for Bayliners... and $980. sounds like a lot if it does not match your hull. Is this a bunk type or roller? Always best to go for bunk type trailer.

i know it's a roller trailer for a 16 dauntless 2002 and it may be taboo but I've heard many people are using them . if not would i be able to convert it to be like the one Joe Kriz has. would love some help. [boating 101 for beginners]

If you can install some keel rollers on the cross members to take the bulk of the weight on the keel, the roller set up should be fine.

I'm not sure on the length, but what you are going to find as a result of rollers if you use for an extended time is depressions in the hull. I would convert ASAP.
