I am restoring a 79 Sport 15 and am at the point of researching finishes. I will be refinishing both the hull and interior and am not sure what product to use as a finish. Was thinking about Interlux Perfection but everything I read says it is for above waterline only. Can it be used below the waterline or do I need to use something else? If so, what is a recommended paint for below the waterline? I don't want bottom paint. I want a gloss finish coat.
I wanted the same thing for my 1976-11 since I'll be mostly trailering it. The only such below-the-waterline sealer and topcoat I found was Interlux Interprotect 2000E and Interlux VC Performance Epoxy.
