Year of 13 foot hull redesign

Can someone pin this down? Also would appreciate your thoughts pro and con on the new versus previous generation hull.

In 2002, the name was changed to Sport 130. http://www.whalercentral.com/userphot...lbum_id=51 An easy way to tell the difference besides knowing the year is to look at the name on the console.
