Im looking at a 1973 16'7 hull, only, that will be a restore project. The hull is in average shape, for its age, but I'm curious as to what is a fair price for the hull. I'm new to Whalers, so I really have no idea. Does $1000 sound reasonable?
Allen, without seeing the boat I would say that is a good starting point. I believe $1000.00 to $1200.00 is reasonable. I bought my 1973 for $2200.00 but it came with a running motor and a trailer. I later sold the trailer for $400.00 and the motor for $700.00. You can look at my member page to see what it looked like when I bought it and what it looks like now.
