Does anyone have any experience installing and operating a jackplate on their subject boat? I have a 1996 Dauntless 20' with a 150 Suzuki and am considering installing a jackplate with a 6" setback.
Any advice? If so, did it enhance boat performance, etc.?
In have a 1999 180 Dauntless that came with a jack plate. I have this weird harmonic vibration but I can't tell if it is because of the jack plate. It does give a lot of options in trim and engine height and I really like it in shallow water.
