I just purchased a 1982 Montauk and have a few questions: 1) wood needs refurbishing, what is the best procedure & product to help (not hurt) the value and classic appeal? 2) the cap on the stainless steering wheel is missing - where can I find one, even if it's not like the original? 3) center console is loose at the front right corner - wood screws are not fully seated and I am unable to tighten more with the 90 degree screw driver (tight area) - thoughts on how to get the movement out? 4) here's a good one - perfect new/original bimini top was included - I installed with the single bar forward, but due to the location of side mounts I didn't have enough head room. Turned it around with thesingle bar toward stern and seemed to be a bit more head room - is there a right way for this to be positioned and is there a way to gain a bit more head room?
