Joe, What is the best way to prep my teak on my Mantauk so I can varnish it? The last time I oiled it was a year ago. Living in Florida is just doesn't hold up like the varnish will.
And what is a smirked or smirkless hull?
Sorry I just don't no about that type of hull?

Sure looks good!!! How did you treat your teak to take 0ut the oil? The last time I oiled my teak was about a year ago. I think I need to pull the old oil out and then sand the wood befor applying any epoxy or varnish.
