I've got all of these on the interior of my 13 sport. The only solution that I can think of is to grind out the blistering and checking and repaint. Any other ideas? I was also wondering about what I could do to protect my transom mounting area from clamp damage. See my pp for pics.
Typically your mount will have clamps on top and holes down near the bottom of it. Those are the holes that you should throughbolt your motor to the transom with.
By all means, still use your clamps. For the areas of concern where you're seeing clamp marks, us some metal between the clamp and the transom. Some sort of a bracket.
