I have recently purchased a 1975 sport....it has thousands of hairliine cracks inside mostly but some outside. I am planning to hand paint but right now I am concerned as to the best way to fill the cracks....is there a cream of sorts that I can spread around that might be like tooth paste where I can comress it with a putty knife then sand when it hardens??????

Part II
I understand that the color inside shoud be desert sand.....who would I obtain that from....

I bought my gelcoat from expresscomposites.com. They were by far cheaper than spectrum and minicraft. They mailed me a color fan and I matched my old color.
