Can someone tell me where the best website is to plug in a HIN # and get some information? I am shopping a used Whaler and would like to see what I can learn before driving 130 miles to looking at it.

Thanks,

Jason

Take a look in our article section...

The hulls are basically the same so only the interior tells us which model it is.
You don't tell us what length the model is you are looking at.

If it doesn't have an original interior then the boat has been customized and is then a "Custom" model.
Look in the Whaler Model Specifications section to see if you can locate what the model looks like.

Joe,

I got BWC2208H F788 from the current owner.

It's a 15 Super Sport Limited.

So I am presuming this number means....

Boston Whaler Classic
Possibly the 2,208th Hull produced of this model
Built June of 1987 and is a 1988 Model

Is this correct?
Is there a way of finding out where this boat was built by using this #? I have seen some search engines where you can plug in this # and possibly get more info but I never tried it.

Thanks,

Jason

The only way we know of to get a little more info is to contact Chuck Bennett at whaler.com. He can probably tell you where the boat was first shipped to and that's about it besides the model which you already know.
