Link to Ebay Auction of 1998 Outrage 17 II

Is it priced right and what would there be to be scared of? Any time you buy a boat online there are disadvantages of takiing their word for the condition. They say the motor runs strong. Overall from the pics the boat looks good.

Well,
What is there to say really?
It is a 98..
Well kept and in reasonably good shape.
I would be careful about jumping in early about ANY boat acquisition right now.
It will ALWAYS be better to view the boats offered in person
And to take a buddy along that has dealt with the brand for some years.
Realistically this unit may be well worth the asking price
But I can think of a few more attractive deals that have been offered lately.
On the other hand;
If the unit would be offered for..Twelve and Five..
Most likely would be snapped up within the hour.
Take your time,
Do your homework
Plenty of great Whalers for sale out there.

I would struggle to pay that much unless i could see the boat in person.

Thank you for the comments and opinions. I have deceided to keep my Sport for this boating season and sell it next Spring and then do some serious hunting for the Whaler I've been looking for a Montauk or and Outrage. I had that "new car fever" feeling going. It's gone now!

I would say 11-14k is an appropriate range.
