ok guys, i need some help. i have a 1981 outrage v20. . . like most of you, she is my BABY.
anyway, my guage doesn't work right, and i can barely read it b/c the clear cover (on the face itself) is worn out.
bottom line. . . i need a new gauge.

so, i sent it off to e-components international. . . .SIX FREAKING MONTHS AGO. first, they sent me the wrong replacment. then, they told me they could repair my current gauge. now, they have my gauge, my 75 bucks, and won't even call me back!!!!

so, where else can i find a new gas gauge like the one that came in my 63 gallon aluminum tank?

e-components are a joke! ... they've lost my order for replacement gauges twice now!

The gauge and sender in the tank was made by Rochester Gauges. E-Components is one vendor.

I would suggest contacting Rochester directly to order or inquire with them who else is a retailer.

Their website is http://www.rochestergauges.com/Pages/...ntact.html.

[Edit to ADD sender]

My local dealer has a box full of factory Whaler logo'd gas gauges, But what you are wanting is the sending unit. Sorry the only ones I have installed is in custom street rod tanks. Those came with the gauge set.

I have only had a good experience with e-components. I needed a new gauge and I received it within a week. I called them and talked with a rep that helped me find the correct model number and walked me through the mechanics of the gauge. Have you tried to call them or are you doing everything via email?

If you did your transaction via a credit card, you can always call your credit card company to dispute the charge.
