Hello all,
I was just wondering if anyone had any general information to determine a market value/fair value of a 1998 Outrage 17 for just a hull? I've seen one online for sale for around $10K, but was wondering if that price might be on the steepside as it's not coming with an engine. Any input you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Depends on the cond of the hull. $10k sounds a little high for just a hull. My question is, where is the motor and what happened to it. No motor means no "sea trial". Look it over REAL GOOD before handing over any money.

A Outrage 17 II is a great hull and without power is nice.

Price depends on condition. If it is good condition, with only a few minor cosmetic issues, and includes a good trailer, I would say the price is fair.

Prices are slightly higher in California and lower in Florida. Fresh water use and/or no bottom paint add value.

I owned a 1997 model with a Mercury 115hp on it.

I would guess that the entire package sells for around $15k with motor and trailer,
+ or - $3k depending on condition of boat and the size and year of motor.
