the system looks like it should work fine.

I used Oyster White on the top of mine. I started with a brighter white and sanded it down as soon as it cured. It was blinding when reflecting the sun.

I think it will be a stretch to get it done in two quarts but maybe others will have other ideas.

On the primer figure on the same amount of paint you will use.
