Hi, you've probbly done this but, look on e-bay under evinrude or johnson as there is the old 60's parts there. The bracket for the generator as well as the one for the starter. Also they used a voltage regulator in the system and in the early days they were mounted outside the engine in a metal box. Later on the regulator was put inside the engine cowl as the boxes would get flooded with water and the regulator would get toasted. We had a '66 40hp johnson and it had one on it. My dad had the front pan changed out and the regulator put inside after about 3 regulators later. As I recall the belt was more like a timeing belt with riges than a typical "v" belt. Oh yea the boat was a 13' sport '69
