Just a heads up. I purchased a left over 2007 Alumacraft CC. It has two Rule 500 bilge pumps and a Rule 500 livewell pump. Noticed one of the bilge pump outlets had broken off. Tried to remove the hoses on the other bilge and livewell pump and the outlets also easily broke. Emailed Rule to see if they were having problems with their pumps. They got back to me and explained that some hose manufacturers had recently changed the plasticizers used in manufacturing due to petrol prices. Apparently some of those plasticizers cause some of the Rule pumps to disintegrate. They said they reformulated their plastic to resolve the problem. I took some photos for them and was sent three new replacement pumps. Obviously very happy with their customer service. The outlet hoses on mine were a vinyl or soft plastic construction rather than the typical harder ribbed plastic bilge hoses. That may or not make a difference. And of course still have the Whaler, she's not going anywhere.

To be on the safe side you might want to check the pump aboard your boats.
