Can someone steer me on how to select a rubrail for my 1969 13ft? So many sites, sizes and shapes/inserts. I'd just like to replace the thin white (original) with thick black vinyl. I've seen many great restore/modify projects on this site, but am ignorant when looking at the drawings of rails on the sites. Thanks a lot!

I also ordered mine from Twin Cities, excellent people to deal with. You can search but you probably will not find a better deal. The replacement rub rail is the 3 piece. Fairly straight forward on installing. You can also order about any color combo.

When you install it use the supplied rivets. Some people say SS screws is the way to go, but don`t believe it. the glass is too thin to hold screws.

Sue must be the most popular person on this site. I've seen her name and Twin Cities mentioned MANY times. I'll be calling her next week. Thanks!
And thanks for the tip on the rivets.

I did a rub rail a year or two ago and Sue took good care of me as well...they are the best and she is the bestest there is:) I used the non-screww fastening and it worked well with the ribits

I have a 64 and decided to replace with all white more modern rub rail vs. the original whcih you can still get...dont remember where...its out there.

Good Luck, Henry AKA THE YIDDIL
