I have a 13' 1963 sport with the original style seating arrangement. So my question is, how do other owners normally arrange or attach fenders when using them at a dock? Not to confuse you, I want to attach them to the boat. There does not seem to be any feasible way to attach them to the boat and they are a must at some of the docks I've used. Even though there is a no wake zone, that does account for the swell quicked up by the yacht plowing half planned 500 yards away. I've tried different ideas but wondered if anyone had some magical way of using fenders

Use one of these Low Freeboard fenders from West marine (or somewhere cheaper)

Then you can tie the rope through the hole on the fender and then loop it around your bench seat to hold it tight.

You can always mount a few small brackets on the inside walls. I don't know what you call them, but similar to the same ones that you connect the straps for a bimini top to.

This is one of those things I wished I'd thought of during the restoration. I would like to have did a few recesses and installed some kind of T- shaped tabs to be used for such purposes. Yet another thing where I fell behind the eight ball.
