Basically you over drill the hole bigger than the original hole, then put a nail bent 90 degrees in a drill chuck (or an allen wrench), put it in the hole and use it to widen the hole under the fiberglass.

Then fill the whole thing with thickened epoxy, let set and remount to the new epoxy “puck”. It helps spread the load across a larger area of glass.
